Refund Policy

At The Data Alchemist Consulting, we take pride in delivering high-quality Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, AI/ML, and Data Privacy solutions. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both parties while acknowledging the significant time and expertise involved in our work.

1. General Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only granted if the delivered work is determined to be not up to industry standard or significantly below the agreed project scope, and only after a formal review.

To request a refund, clients must submit a written explanation detailing:

• The specific deliverables that did not meet expectations
• Evidence or examples of non-compliance with agreed standards
• The portion of the project affected

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following items cannot be refunded under any circumstances:

• Phases or milestones already approved by the client
• Hours logged during consulting, strategy sessions, workshops, or training
• Third-party costs (AWS, APIs, software licenses, servers, etc.)
• Completed BI dashboards, ML models, ETL pipelines, or audits already delivered

3. Partial Refunds

In cases where only part of the work is disputed or requires correction, a partial-refund may be considered. This will be calculated based on:

• Percentage of work completed
• Milestones already delivered
• Time invested in planning, architecture, and development

4. Right to Correct Work

Before any refund is granted, The Data Alchemist reserves the right to:

• Correct or re-deliver the work at no additional cost
• Fix errors, improve quality, or expand on incomplete areas

5. Refund Review Process

All refund requests are reviewed internally within 7–14 business days. Clients will receive a written response with the outcome.
